Before the Re-enactment of the capture of Colonel Crawford, the Colonel comes out to explain the scene to the audience.

There has been a running battle with Col. Crawford's men, out numbered and taking many casualties, all the way back from the Upper Sandusky area. It was very close to our Leesville area that the Colonel saw one of the indian leaders that he recognized as a friend. He holds his hand out to shake and is grabbed and taken back to the west.
