Long time GHS teacher retires..
On June 6, 2007, my dad, Dave Spraw, will walk out of Galion High School for the last time. He's retiring after 37 years of teaching English. He's also an alumni. He graduated with the Class of 1966.

He coached baseball for years. He was the faculty manager. He's still the voice of the Galion Tiger football team on Friday nights. You see him at all kind of athletic and academic events, and you can probably find him out and about in town.

He's a member of the community, and I'd like to honor him for his years of service to Galion and its students.

What I ask of you is simple ... just send him a note or a card. Tell him he made a difference in the life of a student. Share a memory with him. Wish him well in his retirement - even offer to meet him on the golf course.
Please send a card to:

Dave Spraw
189 Southern Ave.
Galion, Ohio 44833

Were you a classmate? A colleague? A student? A parent of a student? A friend? Let him know that you remember him.
And thank you for letting him know,
-----Erin Spraw, GHS '92, Daughter of Mr. Spraw

"Farthest from home" Galionite?..
Thought I would start a "WHERE ARE THEY NOW" entry for Galionites who have moved out of out the fair city. Myself, I now reside in Mount Gambier, South Australia where I work in the dairy industry. I wonder if I am the "farthest from home" Galionite. Here's hoping great success with your site !!!
