| The Central Hotel used to advertise that it was located midway between the CCC&StL and the Erie Train Stations. Passengers would sometimes transfer between the rail lines. The Erie Station is gone now, but the white roof of the CCC&StL (New York Central) Station can be seen from the top of the hotel. It's at the left-center and just below the horizon. |
| The Harding Way West and Union Street intersection. | Our Galion Public Library on North Market Street. |
| The snow finally melted enough that the heating/cooling contractors could get back up on the slippery roof to get these 30 units in operation. The little shed like structure, only partially completed, gives the elevator the extra height needed to reach the third floor. |
| One by one the units are brought on line to get some heat below. | Ahead, the Electrical contractor rushes to get his work done. | More of the outside units on the West side. |
| While we are up here... check out the view of the Brownella Cottage to the Southwest. |
| More walls are going up and the drywall sheets are being fed in from the front and back. This method certainly beats carrying them up the stairs by hand. |
| Top: The early stages of creating the Dining Room. Below left: The same view not long after. Right: from the opposite end looking to the North where through the opening there was once a hotel bar known as the Handle Bar. |

| This is the Unit-C's 1st floor. See the floor plan for Unit 108 and 109. The 3 pictures at the left were each taken from the doorway off the Vestibule. The many openings in the wall can be explained by looking at the floor plan. The distortion is from the wide angle shot where the center is closer than the ends. The bottom right side picture will be made into the bedrooms for the two apartments and top the main living areas. (Reference the windows on the plans) |
| The change over from the hotel bar to the one bedroom Apartment at 103. The door to the street will only be a historical item pretty soon. At this point the apartment still needs the door casings, baseboards, countertops and carpet, |
| Left: The hallway from the early hotel to the apartments to be in the area behind the former retail store rooms. Center: The floors were at different levels and the hallway is sloped to transition this difference at it passes through the nearest store room. The first two bedroom apartment will get a two step down to the living room. Something to give it a little more "character". These two apartments will also have the Store windows with glass on Harding Way West. |
| The center picture shows a miter cut being made to the baseboard for one of two different kitchens shown. These are the next 2nd and 3rd floor apartments west of the ones on the corner. |
| With the weather improving some of the outside finish work can be started. Here the edge of the roof is being completed. The center picture shows where he is working between the Unit-C and Unit-D. | Here is a look at some of those original old windows. All of the windows have been refurbished and put back in. |
| The old blue-green paint on the parapet is being scraped and given a coat of primer now that the weather has warmed up. The view at the right shows the nice old brick detail and the paint scheme at the top of the building at the end of April. |
