		Left: Standing on the 3rd floor main hallway looking back into Unit B. Unit B is the wing along Quays building. The old original (1852 portion) floor joists are being systematically taken out and replaced with the modern laminated beams. The roof is not yet completed on the front corner bordering Harding Way and Public Square. The Unit B wing is proceeding with the wall studs and wiring in readiness for drywalling. There is quite a contrast in the progress between the old original front building and the back wings. Top and Bottom pictures are in the same area. .

The glazier is working to bring this seventy pane window back to life again.		A view of the South West corner of Public Square from the Lobby of the Central Hotel Apartments. The Lobby will be retained from our old Central Hotel.

The new is now crowding the old. The window faces the Square from the third floor.

This is the 1800s.. hand hewn beams with a wooden pin fastener. The rot made it an easy choice to remove this beam.

The back side ot the fancy trim that has decorated the top of the building since the early 1900's can be seen through this hole in the roof.

The Galion Electric Line Division is called in to make some temporary service changes.

A special radio controled truck mounted hoist takes a load of metal wall studs off the truck and up to a window.

The studs are slid into the window and stacked to be used as needed.

Unit C second floor is ready to have the studs put in. But first the room layout will have to be marked on the floor per the architectural drawings.

They are starting on the outside walls. The wiring and insulation will be placed before the drywall panels go on.

Over in the other wing, Unit B, the studs are further along. Here is a laundry room with the clothes washer drain hook-up roughed in.
