A small group of former students came up at dusk on the 15th, to say good-bye to the old building.

"Hard to believe they would tear such a beautifull old building down."

As it became darker the crowd drifted away and the street lights from across the street became the dominate light, Then someone happened to be standing in just the right place to see a reflection on the polished marble stairs going up from the main entrance. Was it from a street light or ...from Oscar's lantern? There were stories from upperclassmen about that mysterious room beneath the stairs.
